It's official - Jimmy's part of the family!

All off to Save-A-Dog Scheme to officially adopt Jimmy......he's now here to stay - yay!!!

Even though he fitted into our routines from his first day, Jimmy's now right at home and officially part of the family.

When he's having a good day, Jimmy can still manage to get himself up on the odd bench when he wants to....he's full of cute little surprises!

Cairo's never normally possessive of anything, but this 100 year old bone - it really looks that old! - he found in the front yard was a different story.........................

He wasn't going to elt Bruce anywhere near it..............................

............and all Bruce could do was to look on longingly...........

........while Jimmy did his own thing and wondered what all the fuss was about.

We always go to the shady park on hot days, early in the morning and late in the evening and we take plenty of fresh water with us, but the boys still feel the heat. 

So we usually do only 1 lap walk then sit on the grass under a big shady tree and just enjoy being out there.

After a couple more days of big rains, this school ground park - which is usually very dry and dusty - became an oasis for the boys on this hot and humid day.
