refusing to be prisoners to the rain

It's been a snap frozen week, and raining every day for most of the day, so I decided we would put our raincoats on and get out into it. Not much fun, but at least the boys managed to have a sniff around and do 'what they needed to do' before we went home for a towel dry and the heating.

........Cairo enjoyed it the least and he hates being dried with the towel, but he really likes the hot air from the hair dryer ......

 Here is Bruce modelling his new 'Thunder shirt'........I got it for him in an effort to help him feel less anxious but so far, I can't say I've noticed much change in his behaviour when he's wearing it, but I think he does look very handsome in it.

a most-loved visitor

It was so lovely for me to have my niece Maddy here for the weekend......but I think the boys enjoyed it even more!



ready for the winter rains

Although it rained for most of the day today.we managed to have a great run at the park for a whole half hour without rain. But we tried all the raincoats on as a practice run just in case...........
